Patrick Doherty, a resident of Naragh Road, Dunamanagh, County Tyrone, passed away peacefully. His funeral will be held on Monday, September 15th, 2024.
Life and Family
Patrick Doherty was the beloved husband of nora Doherty.He was a much-loved father to Brian Doherty (and his wife Ann), Caroline Doherty (and her husband John), and is remembered alongside his late son, baby Darren. He is survived by his seven grandchildren: Shannon, Padraig, Rhianna, Seanan, Nicola, Annette, and Charlene, and also great-grandchildren. He was a brother to Monica,Dominic,and the late Anna,Joe,Eugene,Phonsie,Angela,Tony,and Brendan.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at his home on Saturday, September 13th, 2024, from 6:30 p.m.The funeral will commence on Monday, September 15th, 2024, with the cortege leaving his home at 10:20 a.m. for Requiem Mass at St. Patrick’s Church, Killenagh, at 11:00 a.m. Following the Mass, interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery.
The family requests that visitors respect their privacy with family time observed from 10:00 p.m. until 11:00 a.m. and on the morning of the funeral.
For those unable to attend in person, the Requiem Mass will be live-streamed via donagheady Parish’s youtube channel.
Expressions of Sympathy
Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, son, daughter, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brother, sister, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the wider family circle. The family appreciates the outpouring of support during this difficult time.
The traditional prayer, “sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul,” is offered in remembrance.
