Changi Airport in Singapore has once again stolen the public’s attention. However, not because of the facilities, but because of a TikTok video that sparked debate.

He said that the water dispensers at Changi Airport seemed to be only provided for “upper class” passengers. His expression also seemed too emotional about the conditions at the airport.

“Welcome to Singapore airport where they serve drinking water only to the priority section and can only be accessed after passing through the second layer of security checks. Capitalism at the last gate means only rich people can fill their water bottles before a 14 hour flight,” wrote the TikToker in the video.
The owner of the account named @theblueberrysodafromcava also triggered netizens’ emotions through his video. There are many pros and cons that can be seen in the comments column.
Especially those who often visit Changi Airport. Many netizens said that the TikToker was just lazy to look for other dispensers that were available for free.

The video was viewed more than 33,500 times. Hundreds of comments responded sharply.
“Just walk to the other side to fill up, no one will stop you there,” wrote one netizen.
“Is this just angry content?” wrote another confused netizen.
There was also one netizen who explained that this regulation had been in place at Changi Airport for a long time. However, the area in question is the boarding area which will always be accessible to passengers who already have tickets, rather than being limited to seating sections which are separated by class.
