CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia sophomore Rafael Jódar secured a notable victory on Sunday, November 2nd, winning the singles title at the Jonathan Fried charlottesville ATP Pro Challenger held at the Sports Club at the Boar’s Head Resort. The win marks Jódar’s third ATP Challenger title of the year and a major boost to his professional tennis career.
Jódar Defeats Damm in a Competitive Final
Jódar triumphed over no. 191 martin Damm with a score of 6-3, 7-6 (2) in a final match played before a supportive crowd of Cavalier tennis fans and teammates. The atmosphere was electric, contributing to a memorable victory for the UVA sophomore.
