Riyadh Non-Profit Foundation Launched to Empower Social Development

Saudi Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister, has announced the launch of the “Riyadh Non-Profit Foundation” and the formation of its Board of Directors. This pioneering step aims to promote social work culture and innovation in the non-profit sector.

The Foundation will support and develop institutional and social work, encouraging research, study, and social activities. It will also increase community contribution to the development of non-profit sector programs in areas related to the Foundation’s objectives.

Objectives and Mission

The Foundation focuses on achieving social development by empowering all segments of society, promoting social cohesion, and contributing to the preservation of Riyadh community identity. Its mission is to fund, design, and implement innovative social programs – regionally and globally – to support healthcare, education, arts, and culture, and to promote a sustainable environment.

The Foundation aims to create an integrated and interconnected system, set up research centers and project incubators, increase community participation, and efficiently manage affiliated organizations to achieve its goals.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the Royal Commission for the City of Riyadh has issued a decision to form the Board of Directors of the Corporation under the leadership of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Royal Commission for the City of Riyadh.

The Board of Directors includes prominent figures such as Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh Region, and several other ministers and officials.
