The big question is whether this team can challenge Tadej Pogačar and UAE Emirates-XRG. “Team Pogi” is also expected to field a strong team. The Critérium du Dauphiné is expected to provide insights into the relative strengths of the top teams.
Despite Visma CEO Richard Plugge positioning Vingegaard as the favorite, UAE Emirates-XRG director Andrej Hauptman remains unfazed.”We are not afraid of Vingegaard, we are not afraid of anyone,” Hauptman told Rtv.slo. “We’re sticking to our plan, which we believe is the right one.”

Vingegaard believes he will be on equal footing with Pogačar when the race starts on July 5. “This year, I feel like a completely different person in the way my body reacts to training, but also how my body is in general,” vingeaard said to Eurosport.
What’s next
Cycling fans eagerly await the Tour de France, anticipating a thrilling showdown between Vingegaard and Pogačar, supported by their respective powerhouse teams.
