Vitebsk State Technological University: A Belarusian Center for Specialized Education

Vitebsk State Technological University (VSTU), located in Vitebsk, Belarus, is a unique educational and scientific center focused on training highly qualified personnel. As of January 12, 2026, the university continues to develop its programs and international partnerships.

Belarusian State University and Vitebsk State Technological University were both included in the 2024 BRICS University Rankings, with VSTU appearing in the 601-750 range. The BRICS ranking assesses universities based on education, research, and societal impact, utilizing 17 verifiable indicators from 2020-2024. Belarusian State University achieved a ranking of 36th in the BRICS University Rankings as of December 17, 2025.

Uzbekistan and Belarus are exploring new avenues for collaboration in education, science, and healthcare, including an agreement between Termez State University of Engineering and Agrotechnologies and Vitebsk State Technological University.
