VSTU is organized into six faculties: the faculty of design; the faculty of economics and business management; the faculty of information technology and robotics; the correspondence faculty; the faculty of manufacturing technology; and the faculty of qualifications improvement and staff retraining. The university also comprises 17 departments and offers postgraduate and doctoral programs, supported by two councils for the defense of candidate theses.
