VivaTech announces Innovation of the Year Finalists

VivaTech has revealed the five finalists for its inaugural Innovation of the Year award, chosen from a pool of 30 visionary startups. These companies are tackling important global challenges with innovative and scalable solutions. The finalists will present their ideas live at VivaTech 2025.
The Innovation of the Year award recognizes startups demonstrating extraordinary creativity, technological ingenuity, and the potential to transform their respective industries. The selection process was highly competitive, with each of the top 30 startups showcasing unique strengths.
The finalists for the VivaTech Innovation of the year are:
- BeyondMath: A generative physics platform using AI to accelerate simulations.
- Chipiron: Developing low-cost MRI technology for accessible,large-scale screening.
- Exclusive drape: Offering non-invasive geothermal panels for renewable heating and cooling in urban areas.
- Hua Tech International: An automated microfluidic platform for cancer diagnostics.
- Lumisync: Synchronizing data flow in data centers with photonic oscillators to reduce latency and energy consumption.
These finalists will pitch their solutions on Wednesday, June 11, at 1:35 p.m. on the Pitch Studio Stage.A panel of judges, including Jeff Taylor of TechCrunch, Jaja Liao of 25madison, Shabir Vasram of Daphni, and Howard wright of NVIDIA, will follow each pitch with a Q&A session.
the Innovation of the Year winner will be announced at the VivaTech Global Awards ceremony on Thursday, June 12, at 5:45 p.m.on Stage 1. The winning startup will receive a free Startup Corner at VivaTech 2026 and a spot in the TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 200.
