Vivo has expanded its T-series lineup in India with the introduction of the vivo T5 Pro 5G and the vivo T5x 5G, focusing heavily on high-capacity battery endurance and gaming performance. The series is headlined by the T5 Pro 5G, which integrates a 9,020 mAh battery into a chassis measuring 8.25 mm in thickness.
The vivo T5 Pro 5G is designed to balance extreme battery capacity with a slim form factor. To support the massive 9,020 mAh cell, the device utilizes 90W FlashCharge fast charging technology, which is capable of reaching a 50% charge in 37 minutes.
Technical Specifications of the vivo T5 Pro 5G
The T5 Pro 5G is powered by the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 octa-core system-on-a-chip (SoC), paired with an Adreno 810 Graphics processing unit. This hardware configuration is supported by either 8 GB or 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, with additional RAM Expansion support available.
Storage options for the device include 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which is a standard for high-speed data transfer in mobile devices. The device does not support microSD cards for expandable storage.
The device features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The panel reaches a peak brightness of 5,000 nits and employs 2,160 Hz Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) dimming, a technique used to reduce screen flicker at lower brightness levels to decrease eye strain.
Durability and Software Integration
Vivo has implemented significant durability standards for the T5 Pro 5G, including IP68 and IP69 ratings. These ratings indicate the device is protected against dust and can withstand both immersion in water and high-pressure water jets. The phone carries MIL-STD-810H certification, a military-grade standard for durability under various environmental stresses.
On the software side, the T5 Pro 5G runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Vivo has committed to a support cycle consisting of three years of OS updates and five years of security updates.
The camera system consists of a dual rear setup featuring a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 2 MP depth sensor. Both the main camera and the 32 MP selfie camera are capable of recording video in 4K resolution.
The vivo T5x 5G Gaming Focus
Alongside the Pro model, the vivo T5x 5G targets the mid-range gaming segment with a 7,200 mAh battery. According to company claims, this battery capacity can provide up to 15 hours of intense gaming and 40 hours of video playback on a single charge.

The T5x 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor, which has achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 1 million points. To enhance the gaming experience, Vivo has integrated several specialized features:
- Ultra Game Mode for optimized performance.
- 4D gaming vibrations.
- A Game Voice Changer.
Unlike the Pro model’s AMOLED panel, the T5x 5G uses a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD display. This screen features a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,250 nits.
