Volkswagen Transporter Sportline: UK Orders Open for Top-Spec Van

Volkswagen has begun accepting orders for the top-of-the-line Transporter Sportline van, starting April 1, 2026, in the United Kingdom. The Sportline offers premium features and a more dynamic design for both Panel Van and Kombi models.

Pricing for the Transporter Sportline starts at £52,375 OTR (excluding VAT at 20%, which brings the price to £62,767 including VAT). A limited-edition version, the Sportline 75, will also be available in a run of just 75 vehicles to commemorate 75 years of the Volkswagen bus and 20 years of sports vans. Pricing for the Sportline 75 begins at £51,000 (ex VAT) for panel van versions and £53,000 (ex VAT) for Kombi versions.

Exterior Upgrades

The Sportline distinguishes itself with several exterior enhancements, including new front and rear bumpers, a rear spoiler, a gloss black grille, mirror caps, and badging, as well as side skirts and roof rails. The van also features a 29mm lowered suspension and exclusive 19-inch dual-finish alloy wheels. A signature red grille and Matrix LED headlights complete the exterior upgrades.

Interior Enhancements

Inside, the Sportline boasts embossed, hand-crafted eco-leather sports seats with red stitching, a heated leather steering wheel, and Sportline-branded floor mats. Additional interior features include illuminated metal scuff plates, footwell lighting, high-gloss black display surrounds, and illuminated sun visors.

Safety and Technology

The Transporter Sportline includes keyless access with SAFELOCK, an area view camera, heated and powered folding mirrors, and Volkswagen’s advanced driver assistance systems as standard.

Engine Options and Availability

The Sportline is available with diesel engines, and a plug-in hybrid option will be available later in 2026. First customer deliveries are planned to begin in May. The van is offered as both a panel van and a Kombi, with the Kombi accommodating up to six people (five as standard) for crew and cargo.
