In Pool A,Japan’s Asuka Miyaura & Riko Tsuji secured a 2-0 (21-16,21-14) win against the USA’s Taryn Kloth & Kristen Nuss. Miyaura and Tsuji will now face fourth-seeded New zealanders Shaunna Polley & Olivia MacDonald in the pool final.
