The total prize fund for the 2026 Volvo China Open was set at $2.75 million, with Wiesberger’s winning share amounting to $467,500 according to alternative currency conversions reported by golf media outlets.
Adrian Otaegui, who began the final day with a one-shot lead, finished in second place after carding a nine-under 62 in the third round to reach 16-under par, but dropped four shots in his last seven holes, including a double-bogey on the par-5 finishing hole.
Mikael Lindberg finished third with a score of 14-under, earning €148,299.05, while Shaun Norris and Freddy Schott took fourth and fifth place respectively.
