Volzhsky‍ Kindergarten Celebrates Victory Anniversary with Ancient Exhibit

VOLZHSKY, Russia – Preschoolers at Kindergarten No. 80 in Volzhsky experienced a hands-on history lesson April 18,as the Museum of Local Lore and the Museum of Memory of Volzhsky War Soldiers presented “Ata-Baty,soldiers ‍went,” an exhibit commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory in World‍ War II.

Interactive Learning ‍for Young Students

Four preparatory groups participated in a presentation ‍that connected legendary Russian heroes,soldiers from various eras,and the great Patriotic War. ⁣Children were able to view and ⁣interact with historical artifacts, ⁢including a knight’s helmet and⁢ shield, a fragment of chain mail, WWII-era‍ weaponry, a medical kit, and military decorations.

Beyond simply viewing the items, the children were encouraged to touch and explore⁣ the exhibits after the guided tour. Thay examined the textures and⁣ materials, opened the medical bag to see its contents, and studied the details of military medals and weapons. This immersive experience provided invaluable knowledge for the young students.

“In the preparation of today’s exhibition, we faced‍ an crucial task – in an interesting, affordable form to convey to children the topic of love for the ⁤homeland, protecting the homeland, the theme of courage, duty,”
