Walton, GoldenTree Partner to Expand Lot Banking, Address Housing Supply

Walton Global, a real estate investment firm, is teaming with GoldenTree Asset Management to invest in lot banking transactions across rapidly growing U.S. markets. The collaboration seeks to bolster Walton’s Finished Lot Program, a core component of its Builder Land Financing strategy.
GoldenTree’s investment intends to alleviate U.S. housing supply issues.It will support land inventory strategies, enabling homebuilders to develop in areas demonstrating strong demographic and employment trends. Capital deployment will focus on regions with meaningful housing demand, addressing critical market needs for new homes and real estate investment opportunities.
Walton has completed six full-cycle communities and recently finalized its 28th acquisition under the program. With a strong pipeline already in place, the additional capital from GoldenTree will allow Walton’s funds to co-invest and broaden the program’s scope, further impacting the housing market.
