Shen acknowledged that his campaign has proceeded smoothly so far, agreeing that his background shares certain similarities with Chiang’s educational path, as both studied law before pursuing separate doctoral studies.

Addressing the mechanics of modern campaigning, Shen noted during the broadcast that while he actively connects with voters through traditional street-level outreach at morning and evening markets, aerial air war strategies remain essential for reaching busy working residents who return home without visiting local stalls.

Wang added that traditional municipal hotlines like Taipei’s 1999 service often struggle to organize massive volumes of incoming citizen feedback, providing an opening for digital platforms like Shen’s to capture voter concerns.
