Temperature Variations and Regional Forecasts
According to the Korea Meteorological Governance, morning lows will range from 4 to 11 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs are forecast to reach between 17 and 25 degrees Celsius. This temperature range is similar to or slightly warmer than the average for this time of year. A important daily temperature range,exceeding 20 degrees Celsius in some areas,is anticipated.

The weather service is also warning of very dry conditions in several regions, including Daejeon, Chungbuk (specifically Cheongju and Yeongdong), Daegu, and Gyeongbuk (including Gumi, Chilgok, gimcheon, Sangju, Mungyeong, Yecheon, and Andong). Residents in these areas are urged to exercise caution to prevent wildfires.
Air Quality Concerns
While much of the country will enjoy clear skies, air quality is a concern in the Seoul metropolitan area. Fine dust levels are expected to be “bad” in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi-do. Other regions are expected to experience “normal” air quality.
However, the Korea Meteorological Administration notes that fine dust concentrations may temporarily increase to “bad” levels in the morning and evening in northern Gyeonggi, Chungnam, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungbuk, and Ulsan.
Fog Advisory
Motorists should be aware of potential fog conditions. The weather service reports that deep fog, with visibility less than 200 meters, is possible in the northwest, Incheon, and along the Gyeonggi-do coast in the morning (around 9:00 a.m.). Other inland areas may experience fog with visibility less than 1 kilometer.
