‘Gold-Zilla’ Car Shines at Middle East jewellery Exhibition

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates — The Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show is underway, showcasing a vast array of luxury watches, rare gold pieces, and diamond collections. The exhibition, which began earlier this month and runs through Sunday, features more than 500 exhibitors, drawing leading brands from across the globe.
A major attraction is “Gold-Zilla,” a gold-plated 2014 Nissan GT-R presented by Al Romaizan Gold and Jewellery. the vehicle, valued at approximately $1 million, boasts intricate 24K gold engravings across its entire body.
Designed by Japan’s Kuhl Racing and artist Takahiko Izawa, the “Gold-Zilla” required over 2,000 hours of hand-engraved detailing. The result is a blend of mechanical performance and artistic innovation.
The 55th edition of the show also highlights the Italian pavilion, spanning 708 square meters. Nearly 50 Italian exhibitors, including renowned companies and designers, are participating.
