Tour Overview
KING DIAMOND began its North American headlining tour on October 15 in San Antonio, Texas. The tour, titled "Saint Lucifer’s Hospital 1920," will end on December 6 in Dallas, Texas. Overkill and Night Demon are supporting acts. Myrkur provides additional backing vocals.
Some shows were canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, including those in Edmonton, Saskatoon, Calgary, Portland, and Seattle.
New Music
The current tour features two new songs: "Spider Lilly" and "Electro Therapy."
Frontman’s Message
KING DIAMOND emphasizes an elaborate storyline for this tour, likening it to an evolving horror story set in 1920. The performance includes unexpected elements and a complex stage production. Myrkur will also play the organ for certain songs.
Upcoming Album
KING DIAMOND will release a new studio album titled "The Institute" in 2025 through Metal Blade. This LP will include a two-part horror concept story.
Recent Video Release
In October 2023, the band released a video for "Masquerade Of Madness," originally recorded in 2019. The video highlights the performances and creativity behind the song.
