Fox News host Jesse Watters saeid Pope Leo XIV’s political views are unlikely to impact the conservative agenda in the United States. Speaking at Los Angeles international Airport on friday, watters dismissed concerns that the Pope’s past criticisms of President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance would sway american politics.
Watters emphasized that U.S. politicians will continue to pursue their agendas with little regard for the Pope’s opinions. He stated that American politicians will continue their work regardless of the papacy’s wishes.
“The pope does his thing, and America does our thing, and it’s all good,” Jesse watters, Fox News said.
Watters also expressed skepticism about Pope Leo XIV accepting Trump’s invitation to visit the White House, delivered by Vance during a meeting at the Apostolic palace. Vance presented the Pope with a Chicago Bears jersey bearing his name, along with the invitation.
