Cork will experience sunny spells and scattered blustery showers on Monday. Afternoon temperatures will range from 9C to 10C. There may be hail and isolated thunderstorms.
Night Weather Outlook
Showers will mainly affect western and northern coastal counties on Monday night. Clear spells will develop. Expect temperatures to drop between -2C and 2C, with frost and icy patches likely. Mist and fog are also possible.
Tuesday Forecast
On Tuesday, patchy rain and drizzle may appear in the evening. Daytime temperatures will be between 6C and 8C.
Rest of the Week
Overnight frost and fog will occur, with lows dropping to -3C to 2C. Wednesday may start foggy, but wintry sunshine is expected later, with afternoon temperatures of 3C to 7C. Another cold night will follow, with more frost and icy patches.

Impact of Storm Bert
The aftermath of Storm Bert is still being assessed in Co Cork. The storm caused flooding, transport disruption, and power outages.
Cork County Council has moved from the incident response phase to clean-up efforts. Flood defenses were installed in Mallow and Fermoy. The N72 Fermoy Bridge was briefly closed but is now open. However, the N72 Park Road in Mallow remains closed.
West Cork experienced significant flooding on the N71 between Innishannon and Bandon, which has now reopened. Road conditions remain challenging due to standing water, debris, and fallen trees. Some local roads are still closed.
The Department of Social Protection will provide support through the Humanitarian Assistance Scheme for those affected by Storm Bert.
