Weezdom’s Journey Through Addiction and Recovery

Gospel singer Weezdom has shared his struggles with addiction and his rehabilitation journey. He revealed that his battle with depression led him to addiction, prompting a stay in a rehabilitation center.

Weezdom had been hospitalized four months ago due to depression, which necessitated his transfer to Nobility Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre. He acknowledged, “I was not even aware that addiction is a disease in itself.”

During his recovery, Weezdom expressed gratitude for the support he received from family, friends, and fans. He said, “It hasn’t been easy. I persevered for over a hundred days while completing my program at the facility.” He thanked notable figures like Jaguar and Willy Mtuva for their encouragement. He also expressed appreciation for his fans, stating, “There were times when I needed your support, and you truly came through for me.”

In October, Weezdom reached out to fans for continued spiritual and financial support as he completed his treatment. He plans to share more about his experience with depression and the path that led to his addiction.

Weezdom concluded with a message of thanks: “Nashukuru God niko home na nimepona (I thank God that I am now healthy and I am back home). May God bless you.”

Weezdom’s Family Life

In addition to his recovery, Weezdom shared that he is a proud father of four children. He noted that his eldest child is 12 years old, and the youngest is two. He highlighted that his children motivate him to work hard and improve his life.
