WestJet Expands Service: New Nonstop Flights from Vancouver to Boston and Tampa Starting Summer 2025
WestJet has launched new routes from Vancouver as part of its summer 2025 schedule. Starting in the spring of 2025, the airline will fly from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Tampa International Airport (TPA) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).
Boston (BOS): Service from Vancouver (YVR)
- Nonstop daily flights begin June 9, 2025, and run until October 13, 2025.
- Departures from Vancouver: 9:40 a.m.
- Arrivals in Boston: 6:10 p.m.
- Return flights from Boston: 6:55 p.m.
- Arrivals in Vancouver: 10:05 p.m.
- Round-trip fares start just over $350, with flight durations around five-and-a-half hours to Boston and just over six hours back.
Tampa Bay (TPA): Service from Vancouver (YVR)
- Nonstop weekly flights begin June 14, 2025, and continue through October 25, 2025, flying every Saturday.
- Departures from Vancouver: 9:20 a.m.
- Arrivals in Tampa: 5:43 p.m.
- Return flights from Tampa: 6:40 p.m.
- Arrivals in Vancouver: 7:54 p.m.
- Round-trip fares start below $400, typically around $350, with flight times of nearly five and a half hours to Tampa and about six hours and 15 minutes back.
WestJet is also boosting service on popular domestic and U.S. routes. Passengers can expect more flights to cities such as Calgary, Edmonton, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Kelowna, Winnipeg, and Toronto.
For budget-conscious travelers, WestJet’s lowest fare class, UltraBasic, does not include carry-on luggage or changes to tickets. For example, a round-trip flight from July 15 to July 22, 2025, costs approximately $352.54.
Travelers can connect to many other U.S. destinations from Boston through WestJet’s partnership with Delta Airlines.
