Director Enas El Deghaidi responded to an attack directed at him by former Zamalek club president Murtada Mansour, who hinted at a sexual relationship between him and media personality Hala Sarhan.

Al-Deghaidi described Murtada Mansour’s attack on him as “desperation,” according to reports on Al-Ghad TV.

Al-Deghaidi said of the allegations of an unusual relationship with Hala Sarhan: “What has been said is not correct.”

He pointed out that his alleged relationship with Hala Sarhan has no basis or logic, noting that Hala Sarhan has been married 4 times.

A few years ago, he spoke about the rumors that circulated about his homosexuality for a while, confirming that they were common.

In “The Savage” program broadcast on “An-Nahar” TV, he said: “No one will succeed without throwing bricks, especially Egyptians and Arabs who love to throw bricks.”

He added that he has gay male friends, saying: “My gay friends are serious and they don’t mind.”
