WhatsApp is expanding its call function with the beta testing of three new tools for Android users. The features, discovered in the 2.25.10.16 beta submission, aim to provide users with more control and expressiveness during calls.
One of the new features is a mute button displayed directly on the notification bar during an incoming call. This allows users to mute their microphone from the moment the phone rings.
