Kyle Teel Eyes First Winning Streak as White Sox Face Royals

Chicago White Sox catcher Kyle Teel, fresh off his major league debut in Friday’s 7-2 victory over the Kansas City Royals, aims to start his first winning streak Saturday. The White Sox hope to continue their momentum in the second game of the three-game series.
Teel’s debut included a hit, a run, two walks, and a caught stealing. The White Sox, buoyed by a five-run eighth inning, improved to 3-2 on their current homestand after snapping a 10-game losing streak against Kansas City.
The promotion of Teel, ranked as the White Sox’s No. 2 prospect, adds excitement to the team.Before his call-up, the 23-year-old was hitting.295 with eight home runs and 30 RBIs at Triple-A Charlotte.

“Right now, my process is taking it day by day, and I’m having a good time with these guys, having fun, and that’s just how I’m gonna go about it,” Houser said.
