’16 and Pregnant’ Star Whitney Purvis ⁢Mourns Son Weston gosa’s Death

Whitney Purvis, who gained fame on the MTV show ’16 and Pregnant,’ is grieving the loss of her 16-year-old son, Weston Gosa. Purvis shared the ⁤news on ‍social media Monday, describing her devastation.

“This is so hard to write,” Purvis said.”My beautiful son, Weston, has passed away… life is⁢ so cruel and unfair.‍ I just don’t understand.Oh my baby is gone and I don’t know ⁣what to do with myself.”

Purvis appeared in a 2009 episode of ’16 and Pregnant.’ Several other cast members from her season,⁣ including Farrah Abraham, Maci⁤ Bookout, Amber Portwood, and Catelynn ⁢Lowell, later starred in ‘Teen Mom’.

Following⁤ her initial post, Purvis changed⁣ her profile picture to one featuring a young Weston. She‍ wrote, “Rest in Peace, my baby Weston. I ⁣love you⁤ forever, precious. I’ll never understand why life has to be so cruel.You’ll always be my baby.”

Weston Gosa’s stepmother, Amy Gosa,⁣ posted ⁢on Facebook that the family was awaiting autopsy results. She noted that Weston had diabetes and other health issues, but his death was unexpected. He was found unresponsive Monday and pronounced dead at a hospital.

“He‍ was the most amazing ⁤son I could have asked for,” Amy Gosa wrote. “he was brilliant, smart, funny, and had so ⁢much potential in life… Please keep our family and Whitney in your thoughts and prayers.”
