Who is Hana Gouda?…Egypt Bronze Champion at World Table Tennis Championships – Misc
Hana Gouda is an Egyptian table tennis player who has recently gained attention for her achievements. She was born in 2007 and plays for Al-Ahly Club. Hana represents the Egyptian national team in international competitions.
She made history as the first Egyptian to lead the under-15 girls’ world rankings. The International Table Tennis Federation recognized her for raising standards and setting new records for the sport in Africa.
Hana participated in the 2020 Olympics as a reserve player but did not compete in any matches. In 2021, she reached the final of the African Table Tennis Championship, becoming the youngest player to do so at just 13 years old. She won a silver medal after losing to compatriot Maryam Al-Hudaibi with a score of 4-3.
In 2022, Hana contributed to the Egyptian women’s national team, winning a gold medal at the Mediterranean Games Championship.
Following her recent success in winning a bronze medal at the World Table Tennis Championships for girls under 19 in Sweden, Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sowi congratulated her, acknowledging her hard work and the support from the Egyptian government.
