The women in Animation (WIA) World Summit, a yearly event, will take place June 9 at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and MIFA 2025. This year’s theme, “The Future is Animated,” will delve into emerging innovations and community power within the evolving animation landscape.
The summit, now in its ninth year, will be held at the Impérial Palace Hotel in Annecy. The day-long symposium features panels and conversations with key leaders, filmmakers, and executives discussing gender equity. The event will be recorded and later available on the WIA website.
