Wilco’s Sky Blue Sky Festival Returns to Riviera Maya in 2026

Wilco’s destination music festival, Sky Blue Sky, is making a comeback. The Sky Blue Sky festival will take place Jan. 15-19 at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico. This marks the first iteration of the event since 2023.
Jeff Tweedy and his band, Wilco, are scheduled to perform three times during the five-day event. the lineup also includes Waxahatchee, MJ Lenderman & the Wind, and Cameron Winter, among others. The Sky Blue Sky festival promises a unique blend of music and location.
Tweedy expressed his enthusiasm in a press statement, saying the band feels it’s “a dream opportunity to gather up our families, invite some friends, old and new, and sing some songs by the sea.” He added, “Truly a hard thing to argue with in terms of a good time. want to join us? We hope you can. We’d love to see you. You might even see one of us in shorts. Not likely, but it’s your best shot.”
The 2023 Sky Blue Sky festival featured performances by Father John Misty, Lucinda williams, and Cate Le Bon. Wilco also released their latest studio album, Cousin, produced by Le Bon, that year. as then, the band has released the EP Hot Sun Cool Shroud and reissued their 2004 album, A Ghost Is Born, in February. The band is currently on tour in Europe and will return to North America for dates in the U.S. and Canada in August.
