Star-Studded Opening for Ibiza’s New UNVRS Venue

Ibiza’s nightlife scene has a new contender. UNVRS, a visually aspiring venue, launched May 30 with a grand opening attended by celebrities including Will Smith and Jude Bellingham. The Night League, the group behind ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza, conceived the space.
Yann Pissenem, owner, founder and CEO of The Night League and Ushuaïa Entertainment, said the goal was to create something new for Ibiza’s clubbing legacy: “Opening [UNVRS] has been both a huge undertaking and a tremendous responsibility – a shared dream brought to life with passion, vision, and an incredible team. From the very beginning, our goal was to contribute something new and meaningful to Ibiza’s rich clubbing legacy: a space that celebrates the island’s spirit while looking boldly to the future.”
The venue aims to transport guests to a club lost in time, reborn centuries later. A large UFO sculpture greets visitors at the entrance. Inside, cinema and art inspire the design, with areas like the Wild Comet, a micro-club within a restroom, the Gravity Garden open-air terrace, and the Dome area featuring a ‘Tree Of Life’ centerpiece.
The opening night featured a production by High Scream, kinetic lighting, LED visuals, and acrobatic performances. Michael aunt, Carista, Ahmed Spins, adam Ten, and Mita Gami performed, followed by Joseph Capriati and The martinez Brothers. Carl Cox and Jamie Jones closed out the night, with other DJs playing in the Wild Comet.

UNVRS has announced upcoming residencies, including Eric Prydz’s Holosphere 2.0, Anyma, FISHER, David Guetta Galactic Circus, elrow, Carl Cox, ANOTR, and Sara Landry. Landry’s exclusive show is scheduled for Sept. 29.
