During a recent interview in the U.K. on the “Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden” radio show, Smith, promoting his upcoming tour, discussed raising his children: jaden, 26, and Willow, 24, with wife Jada Pinkett Smith, and Trey, 32, with ex-wife Sheree Zampino. the topic of parenting styles arose when host jamie Theakston asked if Jaden listens to his father.
Smith admitted that his children do not always follow his instructions. He revealed that he and pinkett Smith employed a strategy of “radical honesty” with their children from a young age. the deal was that telling the truth would prevent them from getting in trouble, with punishment only occurring if they were caught in a lie.
