Draper, the highest-seeded British player since Andy Murray in 2017, expressed mixed feelings about‍ the match’s abrupt end. “I wanted to play a bit longer in all honesty,” Draper⁤ said. “It is indeed no⁣ way to win like that, and ⁢I wish ⁣Sebastian the best ⁤in his recovery, of course.”
