Winona State Women’s Basketball Faces Road Test Before​ Home Showdown

Winona,⁣ Minn. – The Winona State University women’s‍ basketball ⁣team is ‌gearing up ⁢for a crucial week of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) action. The Warriors will​ hit the road to face‌ the University of Minnesota Duluth on Wednesday,December 18th at 5:30 p.m. before returning home to mccown Gymnasium to take on the University of Minnesota State on Saturday, December 21st.

Winona State enters the ⁤week with a 6-5 record, ‍currently placing‌ them ninth ‍in the NSIC standings.Thier most recent outing saw them fall to​ conference rival Southwest Minnesota State University ​93-64. Despite the loss, junior guard Olivia Gamoke continued her strong season, leading the ​Warriors with 16 points on 46.2% shooting from the field. Gamoke also contributed five rebounds, three assists, adn one steal.
