Wisconsin Man Claims $2 Million Lottery Prize
TAYLOR, Wis. – A Black River Falls resident is $2 million richer after winning a top prize on a Wisconsin Lottery scratch ticket. Warren Rott claimed his prize at the Madison Lottery office on Monday, according to lottery officials.
Rott purchased the winning $2,000,000 CA$H scratch ticket at the Taylor Corner Store, located at W16211 State Road 95 in Taylor. The $2,000,000 CA$H game, a $50 ticket, debuted on May 2, 2025, and features ten prize levels ranging from $75 to $2,000,000.
The winning ticket represents the largest lottery prize ever sold at Taylor Corner Store. The store will receive a $40,000 incentive from the Wisconsin Lottery. Wisconsin retailers receive two percent of winning tickets over $599, up to a maximum incentive of $100,000.
Rott’s win is not an isolated event for the game. Since the beginning of 2026, five players have won $5,000 prizes, and another player recently claimed a $100,000 secondary prize. The odds of winning the $2 million prize are 280,000 to one.
