Wisconsin enters the championship following a strong finish to the regular season, highlighted by two top-10 results after spring break. The team placed fifth at the Terrapin Invitational in April, where Kate Brody finished 11th and Tammy Wu took 14th. In the fall, the Badgers recorded top-10 finishes in three of five events, including a seventh-place showing at the Badger Invitational.
Alexia Siehl delivered the team’s best individual performance of the season with a fourth-place finish at the MountainView Collegiate in March. Most recently, Wisconsin concluded the regular season in seventh place at the Boilermaker Classic, shooting +48 as a team. Tammy Wu led the squad with a top-20 performance, finishing 19th at +8, while Kate Brody placed 30th and Izzi Stricker and Grace Slocum tied for 39th.
The Badgers improved their standing at the Boilermaker Classic by shooting +14 on the final round, moving up two positions in the results. Kate Brody, a junior, is competing in her third Big Ten Championship after finishing as the runner-up in the 2025 edition.
Oakmont Country Club is hosting the Big Ten Women’s Golf Championships for the first time in 2026. The venue in Glendale, California, will stage the 43rd edition of the event, which runs from Friday, April 24, through Sunday, April 26. Admission and parking for spectators are complimentary throughout the tournament.
Live coverage of the final round will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network starting at 12:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, April 26, marking the second consecutive year the championship’s concluding round has aired on the network.
