The Minnesota Lynx and New York Liberty continue to dominate the WNBA Power Rankings as June begins,setting the stage for Commissioner’s Cup competition. Both teams are favored to meet in the tournament final July 1.
Meanwhile,the Atlanta Dream are on a roll,having won four straight games,the longest active streak behind the Lynx and Liberty. Atlanta’s success is fueled by strong performances from guards Rhyne Howard and Allisha Grey, who combined for 61 points in a recent victory over the Seattle Storm. Free agent additions Brionna Jones and Brittney Griner are also contributing double-digit scoring.
