Menifee, CA – A local woman’s act of holiday kindness nearly turned deadly when she was allegedly lured into a terrifying ordeal involving a Taser, threats, and a car crash.
44-year-old [Suspect’s Last Name] is currently behind bars, facing charges related to the December 18th incident. she is being held on $100,000 bail at the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta.
The victim, Erin Quinn, had been organizing a toy drive and was contacted by someone offering to donate presents. Quinn, who shared her story on social media, explained that she drove to a location provided by the donor, who used a false name.”Little did I know, it was a setup,” Quinn wrote on her Facebook page. “When I went back to my car, someone was in the back seat waiting for me with a taser.”
Quinn alleges that [Suspect’s last name], her former house cleaner, repeatedly tased her over 30 times during a 25-minute ordeal. She described being pulled by her hair and threatened with harm to her children and mother.
Desperate to escape, Quinn crashed her vehicle, an act that ultimately alerted authorities.
“My brain was jolting and my body was shutting down,” Quinn told KTLA5. “I thought literally either I was going to die or I was going to pass out.”
Following the arrest of [Suspect’s Last Name], Quinn expressed relief and gratitude on social media.
“You have no idea what a relief this is that she was found,” Quinn wrote.”Thank you for helping me get this story out there. Our community is safe again, knowing that she’s behind bars.”
