Late-Night Dispute Turns Violent in Bahia Blanca, Two Men Injured

Bahia Blanca, Argentina – A routine Tuesday night in Bahia Blanca took a violent turn when a domestic dispute escalated, leaving two men injured and a woman facing assault charges.

The incident unfolded around 11 p.m. on Misiones Street, where 37-year-old Natalia Fernandez allegedly attacked her partner, 37-year-old Matías Canay, with a kitchen knife during a heated argument.

Sixty-eight-year-old Oscar Mambor, attempting to intervene, suffered a cut to his arm in the process.

Officers from the Comando de Patrullas responded to a 911 call and apprehended Fernandez at the scene. She was charged with assault and taken into custody at the Primera police station.

Canay and Mambor were transported to the Municipal Hospital by ambulance.Both men received treatment for thier injuries, which were described as non-life-threatening.

The investigation into the incident is being conducted by the Unidad Funcional de Instrucción y Juicio Nº 15 of the Bahia Blanca Judicial Department.
