Uzbekistan’s qualification came after a 0-0 draw against the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi, securing the second automatic qualification spot in Group A behind Iran. Goalkeeper ‌Utkir Yusupov was key to ⁣the result, ⁤making several crucial saves.
