Jakarta — President Prabowo Subianto has stated that numerous world leaders have expressed interest in Indonesia’s “Eat Nutritious Free” (Mbg) program,with some countries eager to learn from Indonesia’s approach.
Speaking at a plenary cabinet meeting at the presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Friday, March 21, 2025, Prabowo said, I recieve letters from world leaders. They even want to learn (MBG) from us.
According to Prabowo, discussions about the free nutritious eating program were a key part of visits from foreign dignitaries. These countries are interested in understanding the program’s implementation and potential benefits.
Many visits from the leaders of other countries, they say that one of what they want to learn from us is nutritious eating. Even though we just started,
prabowo noted.
The President believes that these communications and meetings indicate a global perception that Indonesia is committed to addressing nutritional needs through this initiative.
They assume that we are one of the most serious and biggest efforts to handle this,
he added.
Prabowo expressed pride in the program’s rollout across all 38 provinces, benefiting 3 million people. While acknowledging that there is room for improvement, he commended the efforts of the head of the National Nutrition Agency.
