Australian Season Opener at Phillip Island
The 2027 WorldSBK campaign kicks off at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in Australia from February 19 to February 21, following official pre-season tests on February 15–16. This event marks the championship’s final appearance at the coastal Australian venue before the national round moves to Adelaide’s The Bend in 2028. Both WorldSBK and World Supersport classes will contest the season-opening weekend.
Valencia Returns to Calendar as Jerez Drops Off
Europe’s leg of the championship begins at Portimão on March 19–21, serving as the opening round for the World Sportbike and Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship classes. The Circuit Ricardo Tormo near Valencia returns to the calendar on April 2–4 for the first time since 2010, giving Spain two rounds alongside MotorLand Aragón. Jerez drops off the 2027 schedule entirely due to ongoing circuit renovation work, leaving Valencia to host WorldSBK, World Supersport, World Sportbike, and WorldWCR.
Championship Travels to Netherlands, Spain, Czechia, Italy and UK
Following the Valencia round, the championship travels to the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands on April 16–18 and MotorLand Aragón in Spain on May 21–23. June brings events at Autodrom Most in Czechia on June 4–6 and Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy on June 18–20. Donington Park in the United Kingdom hosts the final round before the summer break on July 9–11, marking the World Sportbike class’s first appearance at the Leicestershire circuit.
Autumn Stretch Toward the Shanghai Finale
Racing resumes after a two-month summer break at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours in France on September 3–5, followed by the Cremona Circuit in Italy on September 24–26. The European schedule concludes at Circuito Estoril in Portugal on October 15–17, which also hosts the final round of the World Sportbike eight-round campaign. Two weeks later, the championship travels to Asia for the season finale at the Shanghai International Circuit on October 29–31, marking the first-ever Chinese round in WorldSBK history.
