Community Rallies to Honour Veterans at De Soto Cemetery Wreath Laying Ceremony
De Soto,MO – On December 13th,2025,at 12:00 pm,the De Soto Cemetery will be transformed into a sea of red,white,and blue as the community gathers to honor fallen veterans during the annual wreath Across America ceremony.
This year, organizers aim to place a wreath on each of the 410 veteran graves at the cemetery, a poignant symbol of remembrance and gratitude. Sherry Bowlin and Carol coffman,the dedicated location coordinators,are leading the charge,ensuring every veteran receives the tribute they deserve.
“We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from our community,” saeid Bowlin. “This ceremony is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by those who served our country, and it’s an honor to be a part of it.”
