Washington State Invests $1.5B in Private Equity Strategies
The Washington State Investment Board (WSIB) is boosting its private equity program with a $1.5 billion allocation. The move is part of its approved 2025 investment plan, targeting long-term growth and diversification.
A significant portion, $1 billion, will go to the Evergreen Park Investment Fund, managed by Fisher Lynch Capital. WSIB has a history with Fisher Lynch,committing $3.8 billion since 2021.
Additionally, WSIB is investing $500 million in Advent International GPE XI, SCSP. This fund will focus on buyouts and recapitalizations of upper middle-market to large companies, employing a sector-focused and operationally intensive strategy.
