Terry Gene Bollea, known globally as Hulk Hogan, was deeply intertwined with the Sunshine State for most of his life.Moving to Port Tampa at the age of two, Florida became his lifelong home. His journey into the world of professional wrestling began in the state,with his initial training under Hiro Matsuda and his debut match in fort Myers in 1977.Beyond the wrestling ring, Hogan also contributed to Florida’s culinary scene, notably owning Hogan’s Hangout in Clearwater Beach.
