The WWE King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring tournaments advance next week on Raw with high-stakes first-round matches. The king and Queen of the Ring tournament promises intense competition.
Sheamus, Rusev, Bronson Reed, and a yet-to-be-revealed opponent will clash in a King of the Ring first-round battle, with the victor moving to the semifinals. The Queen of the Ring tournament sees the return of Asuka, who will face Stephanie Vaquer, Raquel Rodriguez, and Ivy Nile for a coveted spot in the semifinals.
The King of the Ring victor will then face the winner of a four-way match on SmackDown featuring Cody Rhodes, Shinsuke Nakamura, Damian Priest, and andrade. Similarly,the Queen of the Ring winner will advance to face the winner of a SmackDown four-way match between Charlotte Flair,Alexa Bliss,Chelsea Green,and Candice LeRae.
Sami Zayn and Roxanne perez secured their spots as the first semifinalists after their victories on Monday’s WWE Raw.
The King and Queen of the Ring winners will earn title opportunities at their respective brand’s World titles during SummerSlam, scheduled for Aug. 2 and 3. The King and Queen of the Ring finals are slated for Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia on June 28.
