NXT heritage Cup Changes Hands in Tumultuous Showdown
This week’s NXT saw a major title change as Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo captured the NXT Heritage Cup Championship from Tony D’Angelo in a chaotic match. The show also featured Jordynne grace winning a No. 1 contender’s match and a post-match attack by Ethan Page.
The NXT Heritage Cup match was the main event. Stacks arrived with “The Outsiders,” who confronted D’Angelo before the bell. The match was a series of timed rounds. D’Angelo dominated early, but Stacks rallied, leading to multiple pin attempts and near falls.Luca Crusifino’s interference backfired when he accidentally struck D’Angelo, allowing Stacks to capitalize and secure the victory.
After the match, D’Angelo punched Crusifino, signaling a potential split within the D’Angelo Family.
