Ethan Page is the new NXT North American Champion after a hard-fought battle against Ricky Saints on Tuesday night. The match, a highlight of the NXT Battleground fallout show, saw both competitors pushing their limits in a display of athleticism and aggression.
The victory marks another meaningful achievement for Page, who has been making waves in NXT. The match concluded when Page executed Twisted Grin,securing the pin and the title. The win was hard-earned, with both wrestlers taking a beating both inside and outside the ring.
Earlier in the show, Trick Williams, fresh off his TNA World Championship win at Battleground, addressed the NXT Universe. Williams,now holding TNA gold,was interrupted by Mike Santana,setting the stage for a heated confrontation.
Santana challenged Williams’ attitude toward TNA,leading to a verbal exchange that ended with Santino Marella announcing a TNA World Title match between Williams and Santana for next week’s show.
The show also featured Mike Santana’s in-ring debut against Tavion Heights, wich Santana won. Jasper Troy made his NXT debut, defeating Chen in a squash match. Jaida Parker defeated Tatum Paxley after using a distraction.
The NXT Women’s Champion, Stephanie Vaquer, is set to team with Lola Vice at Worlds Collide against Chik Tormenta and Dalys.
