Liv Morgan, one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, is slated to make her WWE return on this week’s “Raw” from Tampa, Florida. Morgan’s absence stemmed from her involvement in the movie “Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo,” which necessitated travel to Japan.
Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez last teamed on “NXT,” successfully defending their tag team titles against Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley. They regained the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship from Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria the night after WrestleMania 41.
Her return comes amid growing tension within The judgment Day. Finn Balor has even suggested adding Roxanne Perez to the group, possibly creating further friction.
This week’s ”Raw” will also feature fallout from Saturday Night’s Main Event and Money in the Bank qualifying matches. The New Day will defend their WWE world Tag Team Championship in a triple threat match against The Creed Brothers and The War Raiders. Rusev is also scheduled to face Akira Tozawa.
What’s next
Morgan’s return to WWE and the tag team division promises exciting developments. Her presence could either exacerbate or alleviate the issues plaguing The Judgment Day, adding another layer of intrigue to Monday Night Raw.
