The final episode of SmackDown before the Royal Rumble takes place tonight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.The event sets the stage for tomorrow’s premium live event.
Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn will come face-to-face tonight before their title match at the Royal Rumble. Last week, Zayn earned the championship opportunity by winning a fatal four-way match.The confrontation stemmed from McIntyre referencing Zayn’s son during last week’s broadcast, prompting Zayn to slap the champion.
Carmelo Hayes will defend his United States Championship in an open challenge. Ilja Dragunov will compete against Hayes’ former tag team partner, The Miz, in a singles match. Johnny gargano is scheduled to face Axiom, and Cody Rhodes is set to appear in the ring.
