The Last Time is Now Tournament
The WWE continued building towards WrestleMania with tapings on December 26,2024,featuring matches from “The Last Time is Now” tournament and developments for the upcoming WarGames match.The main event saw a new Bloodline faction secure a dominant victory.
Jey Uso advanced in the tournament with a win over Rusev.Later, LA Knight defeated The Miz, who took the place of the injured Sheamus. The Miz’s possibility arose after a backstage argument with R-Truth over who would fill in for Sheamus in the match against Knight.
Women’s Division developments
The women’s division saw both party and confrontation. Chelsea Green’s “grand inauguration” celebrating her second reign as Women’s United States Champion was abruptly ended by Jade Cargill, who defeated Green in a physical altercation. In WarGames preparations, charlotte Flair defeated Asuka to earn the entry advantage for her team.
Backstage segments featuring both the babyface and heel women’s WarGames teams were filmed to further promote the upcoming cage match.
Survivor Series Elimination Match Results
The main event featured a customary 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination match. The newly formed Bloodline faction – consisting of Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, and JC Mateo – defeated the team of Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rey Fenix, Chris Sabin, and Alex Shelley. Solo Sikoa emerged as the sole survivor, building momentum as he heads into the quarterfinals of the Cena tournament on the December 29th episode of Raw.
