Wyoming Seminary Girls Lacrosse Victory

The school’s lacrosse program saw additional success on April 3, 2026, when the Wyoming Seminary girls lacrosse team defeated Dallas 13-9 in a Wyoming Valley Conference match.

Ellie Kersey played a pivotal role in the win, recording five goals and four assists. Natalina DeNaples contributed four goals to the effort.

The game was characterized by significant physicality and several penalties. Dallas was assessed five yellow cards throughout the match, creating multiple extra-player advantages for Wyoming Seminary. The Blue Knights capitalized on these opportunities, scoring five of their goals during man-up situations.

Wyoming Seminary coach Julia Gabriel

The match featured intense competition across the field, including battles for possession involving Dallas midfielder Cecily Johnston and Wyoming Seminary’s Emerson Swartz, as well as plays involving Wyoming Seminary’s Kaitlyn Brogan and Dallas midfielder Sarah Snowdon.

Other notable actions included Emerson Swartz attempting to bypass Dallas defender Maria-Lucia Priore and a loose ball pursuit between Ellie Kersey and Dallas player Leah Ricardo.
